Join.me

Our team has just recently migrated to Mac development and are looking for a good software fit for web conferencing/screen sharing. On the PC we had been using LiveMeeting. We had a few successful tests with Join.me. However, it has ceased to work. Using Chrome 10.0.648.205 on Mac OSX 10.6.7, when I click on the Share button a popup displays "Please wait while loading" and I can see it download something. Then the popup says "please wait while starting Java" and then "Download didn't start?" When I click that, it downloaded a zip. I extracted the zip and opened the PKG. I click Continue on the package, the installer just goes away. I sent an email to questions@join.me and the response was "verify requirements".... ugh. I did:

OSX 10.6.7 (intel), broadband, Flash is version 10,2,154,27.  Chrome 10.0.648.205.

Any suggetsions here? Thank you.

Re: Join.me

Hi,

I work on the join.me team and saw your post. I'd like to make sure you get everything you need out of join.me, and I will send you an email regarding this right now. I will also check with our Support team to make sure the matter is taken care of.

Thanks,

Maggie

Re: Join.me

Hello Maggie, I'm hoping you can assist us - we are trying to whitelist join.met for use in our enterprise via applocker.  I have used the join.me executable file to create an applocker rule, but there seems to be some kind of intermediate installer or something that tries to launch and is being blocked...
