Unable to view Media Centre on remote Vista machine

I have a client whose computer I provide remote support for using LMI Pro which is working fine for everything except Windows Media Center. As soon as Media Centre is turned on I just see a black screen, I can hear sounds from Media Center but no image, not even the controls to open and close it etc.

Last time I was on there I noticed that as soon as I move my cursor into the Media Center screen area a message appears bottom left of the window saying that I am being blocked. I can see all other content on the remote machine, just not the Media Center.

I have tested remote access to another machine running Media Center and a free version of LMI and there is no problem viewing Media Center there at all. Can anyone suggest why I cannot see it on my client's machine?

Re: Unable to view Media Centre on remote Vista machine

Update: I have now read several reports of this problem which are solved by running Media Center in a window rather than full screen mode. I will check this out and see if it works in my case.

LMI support said they had not come across this problem before which is odd as there are plenty of Google listings about it.

Have you already tried disabling our display accelerator in the General Preferences section?  This can interfere with Full Screen Video apps.
